Residency at the Orto Botanico di Palermo
Banana trees an exciting surprise in the garden. I keep seeking them out but it is hard to do "plein air" painting when the daily temperatures are consistently at or above 100F / 38C. Instead, in the morning, I visit the different banana trees and bring the paintings I have been working on in my studio to see how they relate.
